Sights of Delhi
After the previous nights festivities, we had a spare day so we went touring around Delhi before more wedding ceremonies in the evening. The first stop was the Bahai temple, pretty cool, even if it did remind me of the Sydney Opera House. Again our driver didn't speak english so I have no real idea what the second place was apart from it being some old ruins. We also went to the Indira Ghandi memorial, which was cool and the India gate was interesting, except for a couple of old ladies who tried to con us by getting us to pay to enter (but it was free), then when I told them it was free, they changed their story that the money was for an orphanage.
Lotus Temple, is a Bahia temple. Shoes off to enter and complete silence inside. I didn't mind this as it was cool and tranquil inside, definitely a place for prayer and meditation. There are 7 Bahai temples (houses of worship) around the world and Sydney has one.

Qutub Minar
At the time, I wasn't sure where this is, except that its in Delhi and its old. Thanks to the Internet, I now know its Qutub Minar. Construction of the tower was started by the first Muslim ruler of Delhi in 1200AD.
Indira Ghandi Memorial, unfortunately no photography inside
India Gate, built to commemorate the Indian soldiers who fought and died in World War 1.
