New Sony Laptops

Here is a couple of new Sony laptops that have come to market.

The AR series is here to replace the current AV series laptops. The Vaio VGN-AR190G is currently available for pre-order in the US, so hopefully it won't be too long before it comes here. It sports a 2.0GHz Duo Core CPU, 17" WUXGA (1900x1200) LCD, with 256Mb GeForce 7600GT, 200GB SATA HD and a Blue Ray optical drive. Its also got a built-in TV tuner with an RF port on the back for your antenna.

Though not entirely new, but worthy of mention is the tiny ultra portable UX series. The Vaio VGN-UX180P comes in a small package thats stuffed with features. It has a 1.2GHz Intel processor, a 4.5" SVGA (1024 x 600) touch screen, built-in EDGE wireless modem, 30GB HD, slide out QWERTY thumb board, built-in camera, but the most impressive aspect is its size, 150W x 95H x 32D and weighing just 554g.
