Welcome to Frankfurt am Main
We've been in Frankfurt for a few days now and had a chance to settle in and get well into the swing of things.
On the flight over from Seoul we were surrounded by kids from a school football team. For the most part they were reasonably well behaved, but a little grubby. The funny thing was that the kids were real inquisitive one and weren't shy about it. I felt abit sorry for Mike as they wouldn't leave him alone and the highlight came when Joon (the team Goalie) said Mike is hairy and started stoking his forearm and plucking his chest hair. Thats Andy in the background pretending to be asleep so the kids wouldn't bother him.

Our apartment has turned out to be pretty sweet. Its on Dahlmannstrasse which is less than a minute to Habsburgeralle station which is 2 stops away from the down town shopping district. From there its usually a 5 minute walk to the Fanfest.

Here are some of the sights of Frankfurt, its a small sample as we haven't covered much territory due to lack of time, with all the football going on.
The old town centre of Romberg was pretty cool, though it is a major tourist trap if I ever saw one.

I couldn't read the sign as its in German, but I suspect it may have some significance with the holocaust.

The famed Kaiserdom

I guess this is the central banking district

Sights and sounds at the Zeil, the main shopping thoroughfare. An international chorus of buskers are out in force.

Down to the Fanfest and the famous floating BIG screen
